Attention VPO, VRPU, Geelong, and WPF flyers, our breeders’ plate life rings have arrived. Also for other flyers interstate and outside of our competition, we welcome your involvement should you wish to breed youngsters for our sales. Please note the Breeders plate sale birds can receive racing results in any VPO race in the BREEDERS NAME during the 2023 racing season. These results will be displayed under the “Open Race Result” on our websites. Prizes are split 50% Breeder and 50% flyer.

Australia: Melton – Melbourne – Monday, 9th September 2019. In a backyard in the city of Melton, Pigeon flyers and members of the Melton invitation racing Pigeon club, D. HUNTER & R. BOLTON stitched up and won a first prize purse of $30,000 in the annual, western Pigeon Federation $30,000 breeders plate race.

This year the race was from Murray Bridge a distance of 550 kilometers from Melton. Their winning bird was traveling at a speed of 1197.134 Metres per minute, clocking the bird at 15:12:44 with a flying time of 7hours,42 minutes and 44 seconds to win the first prize of $30,000. what a great sport where you can be at home, in your backyard and win $30,000.

The Melton Invitation racing Pigeon club wishes to congratulate our members, D. HUNTER & R. BOLTON, for winning the great $30,000 race.

The club also wishes to give member Ivan Fonti a special mention and congratulations for gaining 10th and 18th place in the race

Melton invitation Racing Pigeon Club has overwhelmingly been accepted by the Melton RSL to release Racing Pigeons at the dawn Service on ANZAC Day!
The president of the Melton RSL was so overjoyed I contacted him to take part in the ANZAC day service with the pigeons from the Melton Invitation Racing Pigeon Club!
